Great product everything I expect it to be good quality build6/16/2019 7:51:03 PM
Pros: Plenty room for my Gigabyte motherboard yeah other more rooms for for custom water cooling Loop but I got an all-in-one instead it works just fine
Cons: It's heavy and lead to the front panel does not work with a gigabyte motherboard to just works with an Asus one
Other Thoughts: Power supply shroud accident hit the connector part and broke one that leads off its inside the part that connect to the motherboard I don't know how to get a replacement part for me Seuss

Other Thoughts: Not sure if Newegg or Asus is to blame, but I live in an apartment complex with 50 other apartments. It would have been nice to have the packaging not exposed.

Pros: - Seems to be pretty well built, no obvious quality control issues that would impact use or enjoyment.
- Case while it came in a overly large box, the packaging was done well enough to ensure safe/secure shipment, as well as the case itself being inside a dust/scratch bag/cover thing.(which also had ROG printed on it... a surprising touch and something that may entice someone to re-use it as a dust cover or to do a unveiling with)
- Has a nice larger sticker warning people of the tempered glass incase they didn't know on the window/side panel.
- Internals/wires were packaged/tucked away nice and neat. I did not notice any issues with them, that were reported by some earlier reviewers.
- Overall very happy with the quality of the product, and will make a nice display piece for a 9900k / Asus build.

Cons: - The main reason I did not give this 5 stars is the shipping... Rather its NEWEGG or ASUS or a joint issue, the idea of a giant RED box sitting outside someones door is a un welcomed advertisement for theft in this day and age. I am glad I went home at lunch as while my other $2k in merch/packages were hidden like normal there is no hiding a giant red box that could hold a 40'+ TV.. with 'ASUS And STRIX' plastered on it.
Other Thoughts: - I know there was some jokes about its weight and the straps... but it's not that bad, but its not light either. It weight reminds me of the old full tower metal TT cases from the early 2000s. Fully built it will be a bit heavy up to likely 50 pounds however not outside what should be expected when building something like this. Its roughly 35 pounds empty (manu fact spec claims 18kg i.e. 39 pounds but I dunno I would have to weight it to confirm and I had just worked out so felt lighter then it might have been). So the 'Carry to a LAN' thing is maybe not ideal advert... While I can toss 50 pounds around no problem may be quite awkward/difficult for a person of small stature.
- If you are looking for a 'LAN'/mobile rig this is a horrible idea, between the weight and the tempered glass, this is not something you want to be lugging and tossing around without care and effort taken. To put the weight into perspective my cases I use for LAN/Travel are Corsair C70, a metal case with handles and the same size while weighing approx 60% less and cost 60% less as well. However If you want a case to show off, and will take time to ensure its handled carefully sure travel with it, I bought it more as a display piece for my SO new streaming build.
- While I found the manuals to be adequate, they are definitely high quality yet extremely barebones, and do not approach the level of detail and information I have been accustomed to with other case manufacturers. Perhaps reduce the quality of paper/print to produce a manual of actual substance. Reality is 90% of this case users will barely look at it but for those who do need it, the illustrations and instructions are quite vague and poor. Ive been building computers for 20 years and looked at it to confirm how the Vertical GPU adapter worked as I wanted to mount a single 2080ti as close to the motherboard as possible and I got the gist of it, but yeah diagrams and overall instructions could use improvement. Enough to downgrade it? No... but something for them to improve upon.
- The shipping/packaging box size could likely be reduced with packaging redesigned? While this item is likely low volume enough not to matter, if Asus continues its dive into selling cases they should work to improve the packaging to be smaller/cheaper/efficient.

-Spacious
-Packaged well
-Nice RGB design on the front

ROG pulls it off with the Strix Helios5/7/2019 5:53:58 PM
Pros: This case is premium in everyway I can think of and very nice looking as well. Mine came in perfect condition with no flaws. Someone did their homework when designing this beauty.
Cons: The packaging did arrive showing what the product was without any outer box. To my surprise I walked out to my back garage to see if it had arrived and sitting there in broad daylight is a blazing red box emblazoned with the ROG logo the size of my mini fridge just sitting out in the open screaming steal me. This con is not ASUS fault but I think Newegg should reconsider how to ship these to their customers considering they are paying $300 for it.
Other Thoughts: All in all a great buy for those with high end builds. You will not be disappointed.
Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: It has enough room in the front for the fans to breath. The top for the radiator mount can be easily remove so that you can install your radiator on top as easy as 123. The strap is pretty much strong enough to hold when lifting a complete build. The brush aluminum is very nice.
Cons: Not enough holes in the bottom for the cables to get in. Not easy for cable management. No rubber grommets.
Other Thoughts: Overall build is 9/10
Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: The front glass panel looks beautiful even with the rgb lights. Very roomy case and did not feel like things were overcrowded. The build quality is excellent. I was able to fit my 360mm radiator on the top with clearance for my Strix Z370 E. Cable routing is thoughtout through. The only thing is if you have custom length cables and come from a smaller atx case you might have to route cables from the front of motherboard and not the back. especially the CPU power cable.
Cons: Here is why I gave it 2 stars. I dont know if I recieved a bad unit but I Intalled everything correctly. When turning on the system by pressing the chassis power button everything worked. Fans we're spinning, gpu 'seemsed to work' ram lit up.The problem was I was not getting any video output to my monitor AND mouse/ keyboard did not work when plugged in. I began to trace steps and inspect mobo for unplugged cables. There was nothing wrong. I did have my gpu mounted vertically with a pcie extension from Thermaltake Premiuim cable and tested with Corsair as well. I also mounted my gpu horizontally to the motherboard and still no video output. While checking the chasis cables and comparing them to the smaller Corsair Spec Omega I found out that the Helios is missing the HDD LED cable. So I'm not sure of it makes a difference. So to sum it up I ended installing everything back to my Omega case and guess what it worked! No video problems and usb did work for keyboard or mouse.
Other Thoughts: I paid $311 for a 'high end' case that at the end did not work My Specs:
